Looks like Peepshow cash is scamming. Is Webair involved?

I have promoted Peepshow Cash for a while and they missed their last payment to me. When I emailed to ask about it all three emails I sent were not responded to. To humor myself I email them from my gmail account and I just ask them if they are still an active program accepting new affiliates. That email got a quick response from them telling me that the are still around and they would answer any questions I had. When I then asked about the payment owed to me there was silence. No response.

The guy who replied to me is named Steve Covert with an email addy of [email protected]

I'm not sure if the program has anything to do with webair or or if this is just a general email anyone can get who is a webair customer.

Anyway, I guess Peepshow Cash can be added to the list of those who will take your traffic and not pay.

Any idea how I can find this out? I sent the email to him from Gmail, but I'm no expert so I'm not sure how to see what IP his reply was sent from.

when you're looking at the message, at the top right is a dropdown menu that says reply. One of the options is "Show Original". Choose that.

Please wait, I need to just consider something for a moment.

A webhost that hosts many adult programs, owns an adult program themselves......

OK, carry on.

Why does it mean webair is involved with this site? By that logic, if I create a gmail address like [email protected] this could be interpreted as Steve working for google? Perhaps I'm missing something here 'coz what you are insinuating doesn't make sense to me.

If they host with Webair, use [email protected] as his public email, and use a google mail called webairsteve, I think its fair to ask if they have something to do with webair.

I doubt they have something to do with it, and would guess its just a default name from a NATS install.

But nothing wrong in asking.

PeepshowCash.com is registered to J2 Incorporated in Florida which is an inactive corporation according to the Florida Secretary of State: http://www.sunbiz.org/scripts/cordet...fili ng_type=

J2 Incorporated is also the company that Netbilling references: https://secure.netbilling.com/gw/nat...0318063061:001

I did see that some of PeepshowCash's sites are registered to PSTAR, LLC which is still active:
http://www.sunbiz.org/scripts/cordet...f iling_type=

On the Rules page they list this address and phone number:

PeepShowCash
1333A North Avenue
Suite 342
New Rochelle, NY 10804

Phone Number: 1-877-878-6050
Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm EST.

The address 1333A North Avenue seems to be a popular post office/remailing address: http://www.google.com/search?q=1333A+North+Avenue

The domains are registered to [email protected] and a quick search for jfbane came up with:
http://twitter.com/JFBane
http://whois.domaintools.com/jfbane.com
http://whois.domaintools.com/tush.net

Tush.net Whois gives the phone number: 917-612-1797. Might be worth a try.

"Looks like webair is involved"
"Looks like webair maybe involved"

Probably a matter of semantics but the first example reads to me like he is pretty sure they are involved.

In any case, this industry has shown us time and time again the lengths that certain individuals will go to cover up their nefarious activities and creating an email address like [email protected] just seems kinda suspicious if they [webair] have managed to cover up their involvement with the site/program in question for this long.

Food for thought; I don't host with webair and I never have or will so I don't have a horse in this race.

Agent 488 08-03-2010 05:53 AM

i showed my dad my gmail addy he almost cried he was so happy that i finally made it in life.

pradaboy 08-03-2010 05:53 AM

Well that certainly looks like WebAir is involved.

BigDeanEvans 08-03-2010 06:06 AM

No comment from webair??

BigDeanEvans 08-03-2010 06:33 AM

wakey wakey webair...the community would like to know if you're involved in this unscrupulous site...

That is why it's ok to ASK before we start assuming :pimp
