That would be ultimate.I liked when the lion swam out to him.I'm sure they were all well fed before interaction though.

SallyRand 08-15-2010 08:44 PM

As some of my ancestors would have said, "He has The Way with animals.". It just is and it is beyond explaning to those who have not the vision to see.

No slam on you; just the way that it is.

He is doing what he must do as the result of his gift.

Sorry.

Sally.

Robbie 08-15-2010 08:45 PM

I can see how he can pull that off. Those big cats only kill for food and humans aren't on their natural menu.

But what I can't understand is how he plays rough with them without getting hurt. My damn housecat tears me a new asshole with his claws when I get him playing rough! That little bastard has me begging for mercy when his ears go back and he latches on my arm with his claws and starts biting.

I would think those big jungle cats would destroy you when they got playful like that.

I noticed that too. My little pets scratch the hell out of me.

Didn't that other guy that did the same things with Bear, die?

cosis 08-15-2010 09:06 PM

he play's a little rough but overall seems submissive to the cats which could be why they don't attack him

A human being is not necessarily "food" for a predator and there is no fakery in his vids. I work with "certain" animals which could eat your ass alive if they wanted but they don't want to. I feed and water them. Sometimes my animals are hungry as shit, especially before delivery of medications as I have to forego feeding for a day to make sure they eat the med laced treats and none of them have ever given any sort of indication that they want to eat me!

Besides, they know that eating me is the province of my BF and GF, so they only sniff around.

Human beings are top predators and are regarded as such by other predators and only rarely will such predators attack humans despite the myths. Occasionally shit happens but overall, such shit is a rarity.

So you would think because you have little or no connection with the world around you. You cannot help such thinking, so you escape my wrath. You simply were not taught that you are a part of a larger whole and I understand.

A large wild predator walks my house and sleeps at the foot of my bed and I feel safe and secure.

Sally.

That is one of the most idiotic posts I have ever read. Were you perhaps dropped on your head as a child or did you work at it? I may have to get out of this thread as you have completely, finally and thoroughly pissed me off with your pathetic response and I don't want to get banned.

In fact, fuck you; I'm outta this thread!

Sally.

Why so serious?

Raf1 08-15-2010 11:27 PM

one hungry will cost him life :Oh crap

Dirty Dane 08-16-2010 12:32 AM

He wouldn't do the same in the wild. And those pets wouldn't survive for long in the wild.

JBlack 08-16-2010 01:05 AM

Shit looks insane.....

Paul Markham 08-16-2010 01:14 AM

Amazing stuff. Saw a program on National Geographic of a guy who's able to get close up to lions in the wild without them harming him. With lions born in captivity it must be easier. Still not something for the weak of heart.

TeenCat 08-16-2010 01:41 AM

and what is this good for? if you play with fire ... only matter of time ...

tiger 08-16-2010 02:00 AM

Pretty amazing stuff, that guy must have balls of steel.

lazycash 08-16-2010 02:41 AM

I think Sally and Mr. Camgirls would make a great couple.

elmy 08-16-2010 03:35 AM

it's famous

Matt 26z 08-16-2010 04:25 AM

You think that is bad, look at this guy that goes out into the wild....

I could never find the video of it, but on Conan awhile back he showed a clip of a man (maybe the guy in the video I'm posting) who scolded a wild lion for getting too close... Like "bad bad bad!" or something. Anyone have that video?

John-ACWM 08-16-2010 05:29 AM

Intense clip, afraid even to comment :)

CaptainHowdy 08-16-2010 06:32 AM

I don't mind...

If its the guy i am thinking of, he did nothing like this with the bears. He was mor observing them, occasionally touching them. Then they turned on him and ate him. Timothy Treadwell "Grizzly Man" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grizzly_Man

Yup, that's the guy. You are right, he just got pretty close at times. He wasn't one of them like this guy is.

ruff 08-16-2010 01:04 PM

Yeah, love those wild animals. A few months ago a tame killer whale killed it's trainer at Sea World. Everything is groovy until it's not.

100% correct.

I met a Kwakuitl indian on Vancouver Island who used to sit in the shallow part of the shore on a beach and agitate the pebbles until the killer whales came and played around him. (of course they played in the water in front of him, they weren't actually flopping about in the sand next to him)
I saw him call bald eagles right to his boat to feed them fish...and these were wild animals. Some people simply have a connection with animals that has yet to be fully explained scientifically.
