Anyone have a six digit ICQ # ?

I have been using ICQ since around 98/99 and have a 7 digit number, so who has an earlier one?

awxm 10-06-2010 10:47 AM

I do but I bought it off ebay so doesn't count I guess. :1orglaugh

Tjeezers 10-06-2010 10:49 AM

Its all in the number
10 40 30 is mines

awxm 10-06-2010 10:50 AM

I should add the damn thing is a curse as I get about 10 times more Russian spam on it than the newer number I have.

96ukssob 10-06-2010 10:56 AM

i used to have a 6 digit one that I got back in 1998 for IM in college. I never used it much to be honest and after someone stole my laptop, I never signed back up until 2001 again which is how I have a 9 digit one :1orglaugh

Serge Litehead 10-06-2010 11:00 AM

see sig :)

i had 5 digit one when they first came out, but forgot pass and lost access to email which was attached to it

epitome 10-06-2010 11:08 AM

I bought mine on Ebay because the 9 or 10 digit one I had was a pain in the ass.

I first had ICQ in the late 90's. I wish I could remember that number and password.

fusionx 10-06-2010 11:08 AM

I HAD a six digit number (might have been a 5 digit - can't remember), but can't retrieve the login info.. old e-mail address, etc. I was beta testing an internet dial-up service and one of the requirements was to use this new service called ICQ :)

holy fuck, do 6 digits actually sell for that?

greg80 10-06-2010 01:35 PM

I have it, check sig

bought it on ebay for $120 few years back. I like it, easy to remember. But with adult dying, I guess ICQ is less and less important. With death of epass deals between adult webmasters will be tougher and there will be less communication.

Domain Broker 10-06-2010 01:39 PM

i do, also a 5 digit.

fris 10-06-2010 01:40 PM

704-299 is mine

also have a 1xx-xxx one as well, but i dont use it.

best icq number ever

EDIT: Damn, Evil1 bet me. I'll jump off a bridge now.

wizzart 10-06-2010 03:14 PM

I bought 61-four-four-30 for 40$ if I remember well, but will not sell it now for $400.

I think it's so cool to have short # , looks like old school man ;)

Vendzilla 10-06-2010 03:31 PM

I paid $10 for mine, they have gone up in price I guess

me too - hardly log in to icq anymore though

Varius 10-06-2010 03:43 PM

I had one for years until months ago, Russians stole it.

I have since refused to use ICQ, using Skype exclusively.

Maye it's because it was stolen and sold by the russians themselves.

candyflip 10-06-2010 03:53 PM

I managed to remember my old login a few months back.

Mine is in my sig.

iSpyCams 10-06-2010 03:58 PM

I just got a hair-brained idea and bid 70 for one on ebay.

The $600 has zero bids and I have a feeling it will stay that way.
