Anyone else annoyed by American over-usage of the word "fuck"?
 

It's not like I can't stand swearing or anything... but come on... It seems like there's some "cool" trend going on in the US and UK where every sentence just contains "fuck" or "fucking" at least once... Especially in movies in the last few years, directors seem to think it makes the movie more appealing to the public by using "fuck" in every sentence... So annoying, impossible to watch even in some cases (eg. Precious) ... dumb rednecks.

Nah, it's not my view of the entire nation, it's my view about the part of the nation that overuses the word and gives the rest a bad reputation... And it's not just from some movies, just walk around in same big American city for a day and listen to people's conversations.
On top of that, a large majority of the population are religious nutcases who go to church and indoctrinate their children with the same nonsense. And on top of that, a large part of this religious crowd believes the earth is only 6000 years old and the evolution theory is bullshit...
No wonder the US get a bad reputation.

It's a sign of a persons educational intellect. It pauses the brain until they can figure out what they are really trying to say. Notice how many time a black person says 'know what I'm sayin' interjected into their conversations. Another brain pause to give their brain time to catch up.

Politicians usually use 'uhmmmm' in their ad-lib speaches. Again a brain pause to figure out how to continue their lie to a believable point.
