Hi, People! I've been a little bussy these days.

I'm not adding new sources right now. I'm working on advanced configuration features for the existing sources, like filtering by category and/or keywords, and navigation option for each source, to add videos manually. Also, an importing tool, that will let you add sponsor videos of your own.

I promise I'll have it very soon, but please, have patience, and you'll see.

I will add more features, like comments, and tags, but in future updates. not the next one.

The script is not bad. The only thing I can fault is you can't change domain name. If you sold the domain name later, the license is gone with that name. Hopefully the seller can allow buyers to change domain name at least one more time :thumbsup

No. The script uses the sites player, like if we were getting the "embed" code they provide.
But you could easily make it work that way.

After a long wait, finally version 1.2 is released.

This version includes the feature to add videos manualy, by selecting them directly from the sources, and also some advanced configurations for each source individually. You can now also choose whether to hotlink or localy host the thumbnails of the videos.
Also, reported bugs were fixed.

How does this update work?? Do I have to reinstall the script??

No. Just reupload the files (except templates/detault) and move config.php to includes/ directory.

That should be all.

I did everything you told me but when I go to admin > settings all fields are empty again. Are you sure the config.php file for 1.2 is the same as for 1.1 ??

An early bug was found.
Redownload the script, and upload only admin/modules/settings.php

Automagick Tube Script v.1.2.1 is now released.

New Features: Importer Tool, and FLV Player Settings (wich the change to add your own player).

With this two new additions you will be able to work not only with sources videos but with sponsor and your own videos, easily, including in-video ads.
