Nikki Nova - EMERGENCY - Please Read - GoFuckYourself.com

Yesterday we were on a location shooting and Nikki was involved in a serious accident. She was on a horse and the horse got spooked. Nikki fell off the back of the horse and then the horse fell back on her head.

She sustained a few serious injuries. She has a fractured skull and has 3 sections of her brain that are bleeding. She is currently in the ICU and is stabalized for now. She is getting CT Scans every 4 hours or so to check her progress so they can determine if and/or when they would have to go in and operate.

Right now first of all, we really need the emotional support of her friends and all the people that know her and have worked with her over the years.

On a second note, unfortunetly, Nikki does NOT have medical insurance at this time and she is really going to need some help. There will be bills from the life flight helicoter to ER to operations to rehab. I have talked to her mom and as much as its hard to talk about money at a time like this, it is a part of the situtation that has to be dealt with.

We have setup a Pay Pal account for people to make donations to help Nikki with her medical bills and recovery. Please send all donations to [email protected]. If anyone needs to reach me, I will not be in a front of a computer all day as I'm sitting in the ICU with her. My cell phone will not be working either. I'm very scared for her right now and my head is spinning. So if you call me and I don't get back to you right away, please just be patient with me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I know that there are a lot of people that love Nikki and a lot of people that have worked with her over the years. sorry to hear that. I was just checking out your sites this week. Sad that this had to happen to anyone. I used to fear horses because of this and all the horror stories from my friends. A horse took down "Super"man and now possibly a "Super"model. So sad.

oh man, i started reading this and instantly felt anxious. i was thrown from a horse when i was a kid and never rode again, it's a flipping scary experience all by itself, without being hurt so badly on top of it. my thoughts and prayers are with nikki and her family/friends today. now i'm off to look for some money to send her way, i know what it's like not to have insurance and have a massive medical bill coming at you. i hope the ePassporte thing works out - it'd be much easier for me (and probably a lot of webmasters) to send some $$$ if you get that set up!

Damn, my favorite model of all time.

I guess something good can come of this if we all make sure that safety is the #1 concern on a shoot. Even doing little things like making sure everything is sandbagged and cables are taped to the floor can avoid a tragedy.

Actually my first thought was exactly that. Nikki is quite big. I cannot look inside her wallet but i'm pretty sure she made/makes a nice dime.

So maybe a little more details will help since a lot of people might think the same. Nobody knows where the money is going, nobody knows anything about the bills etc.

dont let getting tossed once keep you off a great animal like a horse. I have been tossed twice in the last 2 weeks and my girl friend was tossed 2 days ago when her horse spooked. Horses can be dangerous, its not that they are mean, but just cause they are so heavy and strong. Wear proper gear, helmet and gloves, and dont ride a horse out of an arena untill you know the horse. I train my own horses, them spooking is part of their nature. Go to a training barn and get back up on one... I wear gloves and a helmet anytime I am riding.

I don't need negative energy right now. She was not a contract girl for Playboy so why would we ask them for money. She is independent. Nikki has made money but head trauma and surgery and rehad is more expensive than you know. We wouldn't be asking for help if it wasn't needed. Nikki nor I are the kind of people to take advantage of anyone. All we are asking is for help. If you can send $5 then do it, if you can send more than great.

As for details, I don't know what you mean. The money will be used to cover her hospital bills and rehad. Its that simple. If for some reason there is extra money, it will be donated to a good cause of Nikki's choice.

So please, send your wishes and please don't post about how much money should has made and all that shit. It doesn't help and it doesn't matter.

Well the company she was contracted to for the shoot is liable, that's the point. Not her. Isn't that in all working contracts?

Surely they should be paying for this work-related injury, if not, she has a lawsuit to persue.

Of course ... I contacted my attorney a few hours after the accident. However, hospitals need a financial commitment from someone when a person does not have insurance. So her mom signed off on it. The lawsuit will be down the road and who knows how long it will take to settle. Once settled, who knows how long it will take to get the money from the people that are liable. IT could be years .... but she needs medical attention now and rehab now.

Sad that this had to happen to anyone. I used to fear horses because of this and all the horror stories from my friends. A horse took down "Super"man and now possibly a "Super"model. So sad. Sorry to say this, no insult intended, I'd love to donate something, but can someone out there verify that this is true? I see her listed on SideCash.com and Supermodel.com ??? Once again... I hope everything goes well, keep us posted, I wish her a speedy recovery. Fortunately she has a membership site, and I'll bet her members will rally around her in this time of need.
