Protecting themselves and annoying customers is 2 seperate things. There are additional info on ID cards than just a name and a picture. Yes, there's fraud out there towards companies, but theres also fraud or identity theft towards citizens. When you start to combine name, address, drivers licence, picture, CC, it starts to become a lot. I dont got nothing to hide either, but if theyre server once get hacked, what do you do Mr. Im so innocent?

And the most important thing, if they don't want complains, WHY DON'T THEY TELL THEY WANT THAT ID BEFORE I SIGN UP?? Not after I pay.
