you know what, even if there was 5000, do you REALLY think they represent a common belief in Israel? If you think so, you really are "living in a movie (translated from hebrew)" ...

PLUS, a high percent of those people (I won't make up an exact number, because I see numbers are a touchy subject for you) are ARABS... muslims... who don't serve in the army and obviously are against everything Israel stands for (except for democracy)... so what's so surprising?

this demonstration wasn't even reported on a single TV station... you know why? not because the TV channels are biased, but because this demonstration is way out of the concensus in Israel... and therefore it's not worth covering...
