You are on the right track, but here are a couple of obvious ones I noticed --

You are making progress but if you want to see good conversions you still have a ways to go.

Ok... As far as scrolling and the "stale" page I fixed that part sometimes I forget people still use 800x600 ;) There are 3 animated join buttons on every page do I need more?
Marketing text: are you referring to the "stories" on the right hand side? Doesn't it seem realistic enough? or is it just not dirtly enough. My content is a bit light right now is why I can't add in a lot of fancy shit and videos.
What would you suggest to make it more obvious as to the "point" of the site.
