Long story short I got hit in the head with a golf club by a guy in a whirlpool uniform who was OFF duty it was like 5:45 area..

I realize that suing just a person on aggravated assault is a losing cause basically no matter what since it can only cover expenses which are just stitches and a nasty headache...

BUT anybody have some info on if the guy was clearly in a big businesses uniform? right now I'm just glad the bleeding stopped and I hate lawyers so should I even think about talking to one once I get the police report? This happened more than an hour from home so I don't want to have to go back and forth if I don't have to.
