Too many variables on this one, cost of living based on state/region/city, cost of gas for going to work, inflation rates etc..

If they pro-rated evertying based on expense reports and such you would need to file and prove, why the fuck not do this? It could work if it was done right.. 8 years of school, 8 years of working getting by.. That would put you on the same income level as your profits after paying the student loan cost in the first place once they start racking up interest..

It would be a plausible alternative to loans.. but you would have to calculate inflation and all those other factors per year or per 6 months in some areas.
