No, I do realize that things cost money, etc. But if a site claims X amount of updates why aren't they there? If a surfer is promised updated content, what classifies as updated content? 1x per week, per month or per year?

All I'm trying to say is if you aren't going to update anymore at least don't advertise this in your tours. The reason I don't bash sites that don't update is because they at least don't make false claims.

I have no beef with any site except with those that are a rip off the customer (in the sense that they mislead them in the tours and with cross sales). I know business is business, but with all the lack of updates and cross sales, tube sites seem like the best option for surfers.

I'm not trying to call out any specific program, but what I am trying to say is do better business. They are your customer, keep them!

I agree with revshare over PPS too, I guess that isn't a surprise.

Now, I am even fine with 30%-40% revshare. 50% revshare is plenty and 60% might even be too much. Affiliates don't pay for the content and manage the business, that's a given.

If the pay site provided a product worth keeping month after month, 30%-40% revshare would actually earn an affiliate more in the long run. So if the program started by updating more, making the best content possible etc, I could see them justifying a lower payout % to counter the cost of these new updates. I'm also not trying to fuck over affiliates as I am one, but providing a cost effective counter measure in response to new content produced is just another idea I was thinking of.

I'm here to meet new people and give my opinion to paysites if they want to hear it. I don't want to start flame wars but just provide what I think and move on.

I think you guys see what I mean. I understand that business is business however I do know that misguided customers will become lost customers in the future.

If you want to be proactive, you must do something in the best interest of someone else sometimes.

Please don't take this as a negative post, I genuinely care.
