The Windows 7 is a joke, 3x slower than the Debian, total junk ... I just wanted a Windows stand alone o/s for some specific applications for work and maybe for Netflix as it requires Silverlight (MicroCrap paid them off I guess ? proprietary programming).

Unless you're gaming... [insert favorite flavor of linux here] + vmware/virtualbox + windows client = profit.
Personally, I use a derivative of LMDE. Debian squeeze base install on encrypted lvm with Linux Mint gnome theme... lovely stuff right there.
Though, I used to run Mac OS X on this box but no matter what edits I made to my dsdt, it ran hotter than it should have been...
