The question is based on so many twisted stats, and single agenda media coverage, and mindsets that were founded in a culture that had no problem with overly powerful government, and which does not allow for the thought that having weapons only available to the government is perhaps a bad thing.

There are CONSTANTLY stories about law abiding gun owners that stop crime from happening, without even firing a shot in the vast majority of instances, but these are never covered by the national media, let alone the international press.


It's silly to argue with you guys about this. You will only ever see it one way, and you will only seek out information sources that match your already solidified views on the subject.
