Who says I'm being a dick. I'm a war veteran myself. I've volunteered for years at the local VA. I think the project is a great idea, like all things attempted though, face certain challenges in entering the marketplace.
Perhaps you shouldn't be so business short sighted. If you can't discuss the realistic outcomes and challenges that things face without being emotionally involved and being a dick, doesn't mean everybody can't.

Your analogy albiet a nice attempt, fails to properly adhere to the same direct correlation dynamics as the subject topic.
Religious people might fail to stay at a hotel if they found out that Ron Jeremy was giving a guest lecture in the Blue Room on a Saturday night with half of the proceeds going to the Family Easter Egg hunt tomorrow in the back lawn.
Which brings up my point. If you want to fund mainstream projects that are going to be exposed and deal with media/companies at a very high level, you need more degrees of separation and accountability between you and your adult work/financing.
