Although I admire your efforts for a noble cause I think you have overlooked some important aspects.
Everybody has enemies. I'm sure you have a few here. Should your website take off and become profitable, it would only be a matter of time before it was out that the entire project was funded primarily by pornography money. There is no company that is going to continue to business with a program that even though mainstream is funded by porn. You would lose all your employeers that were listing with you. Thats just assuming you get that far with it. More than likely you'll run into the problem before it even takes off. You did more to kill this project by revealing it here and asking for money than just by running out of operation and development funds. |

Perhaps you shouldn't be so business short sighted. If you can't discuss the realistic outcomes and challenges that things face without being emotionally involved and being a dick, doesn't mean everybody can't. Or maybe we should sit and play pretend longer so your mangina doesn't get all swollen and hurt. Just so its clear since you seem to have difficulty in separating out your emotions and the context of a topic to form a rational intent, now I'm being a dick. Your analogy albiet a nice attempt, fails to properly adhere to the same direct correlation dynamics as the subject topic. Religious people might fail to stay at a hotel if they found out that Ron Jeremy was giving a guest lecture in the Blue Room on a Saturday night with half of the proceeds going to the Family Easter Egg hunt tomorrow in the back lawn. Which brings up my point. If you want to fund mainstream projects that are going to be exposed and deal with media/companies at a very high level, you need more degrees of separation and accountability between you and your adult work/financing. |

timlover,
I understand your points. And...unless (over night that the adult internet has become illegal) it doesn't matter where the money comes from. I don't know who you are. But your date of registering at gfy you have been here for some time. If my memory serves me correctly. when Katrina happened, I believe the adult internet industry joined together and started an auction and raised money for those that were effected by Katrina. (Of course the main stream media didn't mention this.) And again if my memory serves me correctly the adult internet industry raised millions of dollars and gave it to....I think to the red cross, for Katrina victims. (You think if the red cross knew about this they would turn that money away? No. The adult internet money is green money and it is not illegal gained money.) I would like to think, "I am a student of history" Many things that exists today were created from illegal activities IE: money. Las Vegas for example: They...The Mob built the town. There are also many movie studios that exists and are still operating today from mob money. Do you boycott Hollywood (when was the last time you rented or went to the movies.) Another example: Chase Bank, They were formed/created (Got money) from the Nazi party. Do you have a bank account at Chase or a chase credit card? (Don't believe me look it up.) But somehow over the years people have forgotten about this. So me seeking contributions from the adult internet industry it is not illegal. Those that work in this industry are a pretty a pretty giving group, and a lot have kind hearts, as the above example..(With the auction for Katrina victims.) It is just a real shame that we may not get to the funding goal. So with everything above said. Please help, there is only 8 days left. Please contribute now. http://igg.me/at/Ability-Jobs-Plus/x/2363045 We need 2000 people that can contribute $5.00 or 1000 people that can contribute $10.00 or 400 people that can contribute $25.00 If you can contribute more we would very much appreciate it. We wont be able to do this without your help and your contributions. |

The best business advice I can give you is that you should probably look for a company or charitable organization who is better equipped and more well funded to take this off your hands and look to be kept on as an advisor, be it paid or not... I have a feeling you are going to be faced with this option sooner or later, so you might want to think about getting a jump start on it. There is nothing shameful about acknowledging that you are outside your means. The world is full of great ideas, simply with out enough capital to see them through fruition. It's clear your resources are exhausted and I wouldn't count on a hail marry coming through from here. i would shelve the outreach here and start reaching out to more organizations that are better aligned with your purpose... |

We are down to the final hours (currently there's 8 hours left) with our campaign.
http://igg.me/at/Ability-Jobs-Plus/x/2363045 We're still so far away. Could you all please help. If we can get to $2,500 this will give us a little capital to run a cut down segment of our marketing strategy. where we could reach 700,000 disabled so they know the site exists, and we would be able to reach 300,000 companies/HR departments so we can find work for our disabled military and disabled non military community. So if there is 250 people that can spare just $10 we would be ever grateful. If you can spare more we would much appreciate your generous nature. Please help. Thanks in advance. And thanks to those that have contributed so far. ![]() |
