never did this. I guess that is one thing I can try. Although the guy I am fixing this computer up for is not really that tech savvy. He just likes video games. So not sure if he would want it kept like this. So he will have to manually approve every windows update I assume?

Edit: I know it seems to like showing all the updates available at once, and doesn't give you the option to choose which ones to download. So if there were other updates that needed downloading like a security patch, then it will probably automatically install all the shit listed under updates at the same time. So this would basically only work if he never wants to install any windows updates ever again. Or I guess he would have to just reinstall the good video drivers after every time he manually approves a windows update.
