If you think about it, Google can see that its an automated post that was triggered and if I was in charge of Google's webspam team, I'd be lowering the value of posts coming from IFTTT. I wouldn't devalue entirely, but an organic post vs an IFTTT post probably wouldn't carry the same weight...
