The entire time Trump denied his campaign had any connections to the Russian government. We already know this is completely false; A large portion of of his staff has direct ties to Russia. Some of them have even won awards or been paid money for speeches.
But the truth is while Trump was denying his campaign had any contact with the Russian government, his staff was meeting with them behind closed doors. Jeff Sessions is a great example. Why would anyone from the United States Senate Committee on Armed Services need to meet with someone from the Russian government behind closed doors without the support and guidance of the State Department?
Even worse, why would they have this secret private meeting at the Republican National Convention?
Now the problem is they are telling lies about all of this. Why? If they have done nothing wrong, why are they lying about it? What they trying to hide? Why is the Trump administration trying to get the FBI to be quiet about this?
Where there is smoke there is fire. And right now we have smoke all over the place. We don't have smoke in one place, we have smoke in a dozen places. We have five people from the Trump camp who have secretly met with people from the Russian government. Robbie is telling us Trump didn't meet with anyone from the Russian government, but do you really mean to tell me the top diplomat from Russia (who is also their top spy) went to the Trump tower to meet with Flynn and Trump's son-in-law but... didn't meet with Trump himself? LOL. They've lied about everything else, so it's safe to say they are lying about this too.

Actually, it is very much illegal to meet with a foreign govt and attempt to negotiate policy with out authorization of our govt. It's actually a violation of the US Constitution.
Now Sessions was a US senator at the time so he could legally meet with foreign officers and talk policy if "acting" as a Senator. However the thing that is very complicated is at that time he was already working for Trump's campaign. Added to this he lied to Congress about these meetings. To add even more to this, it's reported he met in "private" with the Russian ambassador which is simply "not" done, because of issues of blackmail or shady shit going on.. I dunno if that's a rule he broke or a highly suggested practice.. either way he lied to Congress and that's the key issue at the "moment".
What he talked about is still a concern but his first "they got him" is he lied under oath committing perjury. That's not something to take lightly from the head of the DOJ. In fact it's even possible he could lose his law license for lying under oath.. (Clinton lost his for lying under oath about the BJ. Lying under oath is why Clinton was technically impeached)
I think this will prove to be a much bigger deal than what happened with Flynn.. I'm betting another of Trump's men bites the dust. Now the fucked up thing is I bet they will let him "resign" like Flynn and not get charged as long as he resigns. However the fucker should lose his law license and be charged with perjury. Any other normal person would get carged for much less. I'm sick of these scumbags getting off scott free..
