A very disturbing story, coming right after the UK authorities banned a several actually smart and somewhat popular folks from entering the country for being merely politically incorrect and too heavy on the inconvenient truth. And sentenced a dude for his pug's hail H salute.
Btw. Tommy Robinson the mass media version and Tommy Robinson in his own words are very, very far away from each other. Even if one was a die hard Rainbows and Unicorns guy, and wouldn't like the messenger, his message itself is rock solid. I thought I'll see some primitive reincarnation of anti-Christ first time I tuned into an interview with him, but all I saw was merely a regular, outspoken bloke that's passionate about the well being of his community, and pissed off about the course the UK and Europe is heading.
The guy is from Luton, and that itself would make one very easily worried about the future of England and Europe in general (have you ever walked Luton?). Yes he was indeed involved with EDL for a certain time in his early twenties. Which the media, of course, NEVER fail to mention, ideally in the headline, as if it defined him.
But frankly, and in all seriousness, I can find it hard to believe anyone with the least bit of honesty and common sense left could believe this mass media demonizing non sense, after actually encountering the guy for real.
And if one can get arrested and sentenced in one single day for merely pointing out the obvious facts that make your government look bad (which in a sane society should be primarily a role of journalists and politicians, not activists), with no lawyer available, no communication allowed, and with an information embargo set (articles were taken down after the court order prohibiting "informing about the case") then don't be surprised if you'll be next.
This what happened is true Gestapo tactics, more than 70 years after the end of the WW II, getting rid of dissent and trying to silence anybody reporting about it. Likely also in order to appease Islam in the country (since nobody "official" ever dares to criticize it).
TR has been in jail before and almost killed, since there's a major Islamic diaspora present in the UK's prisons, it's not unlikely this is putting his health or life into imminent danger.
