From what I gathered off of twitter…

This guy has been reporting on the child rape grooming gangs. Apparently this is a big thing over there but traditional outlets are staying hush. He streamed a court case, from outside? and the judge gave him a 13 month sentence within an hour. Along with a media ban on the whole incident. Then hundreds/thousands protested.

It's hard to tell because of the media ban. That info is from weird twitter fragments.

If the Brits post about it on Twitter, they can be arrested. If foreigners post about it, they can be banned from Britain.

The 13 month sentence for the guy is a basicly a death sentence because of the high amount of violent Muslims in the British prisons. He was not allowed access to his attorney for his trial, and still doesn't get to talk to his attorney until Tuesday, but he's already been tried and sentenced.

You don't have the right to free speech in Britain. The British government is terrified of offending the Muslims.

From what I have read in this thread it seems he was on a suspended sentence - So he was not given 13 months for taking the video but for whatever he did before.....

This numpty decided to live stream on facebook. He was attempting to film defendants entering the court and also discussing the case.

And if one can get arrested and sentenced in one single day for merely pointing out the obvious facts that make your government look bad (which in a sane society should be primarily a role of journalists and politicians, not activists), with no lawyer available, no communication allowed, and with an information embargo set (articles were taken down after the court order prohibiting "informing about the case") then don't be surprised if you'll be next.

This what happened is true Gestapo tactics, more than 70 years after the end of the WW II, getting rid of dissent and trying to silence anybody reporting about it. Likely also in order to appease Islam in the country (since nobody "official" ever dares to criticize it).

TR has been in jail before and almost killed, since there's a major Islamic diaspora present in the UK's prisons, it's not unlikely this is putting his health or life into imminent danger.

You can ask for people to put their feelings about him aside all you like, but unfortunately, that only works in a perfect world, and this isn't a perfect world where we can all easily compartmentalise.

Zero. They say they're arresting him for a 'breach of peace'. The weakest attempt at putting somebody in jail under extremely dubious circumnstances, likely for purely political reasons and a very poor job covering it. This won't go away easily.
