I literally responded to your first post.

If your average user doesn't even know what sftp is, I'm almost certain they won't be able to telnet into a server and start running ssh commands, so in that respect, I don't think it's quite over yet for developers.

This is insane. I had never run an instance of Python in my life and I got a python script made with ChatGPT.
"Install Python and run this."
I repeated HOW until it was up and working, a few minutes. I did what it said, pasted the errors I got back and it walked me through it like a baby.
I told you that my brother who had never touched a server set 2 up for a game with AI instructions, it even recommended the hosts to use for the services required.
So again, I have no idea why you are posting this nonsense and AI is already obliterating programming jobs.

AI is rapidly increasing its role in code generation. Within the next few years, estimates range from 50% to 95% of code being AI-generated. Specifically, Microsoft's CTO predicts that within five years, 95% of all code will be AI-generated.

blackmonsters would love to discuss how it's really hard and ineffective if that's your goal.
