Spam Filtering Software - What Are You Using?

The e-mail spam seems to be getting worse by the day so I guess it?s finally time to implement some sort of spam filtering software. I?ve always been reluctant to use it simply because I don?t want to miss any legitimate e-mails from customers or affiliates. We have members that can?t even figure out how to play a video or use a simple password retrieval form so I?m guessing if we use something like Spam Arrest or anything else that requires them to click a box, complete a captha field, reply to an e-mail confirmation or whatever their just not gonna do it.

For those of you concerned about missing important e-mails what are you using to minimize the burden of spam?

I guess Phoenix and I are the only ones on GFY that receive spam. Maybe next time I'll title the thread "Would You Hit It".

So far sounds like the e-mail client's built-in spam filter is the way to go. Anyone else using any third-party software?

Use a few RBL on server to reject mail from known spammers, then spam assassin to label suspect emails subject lines with a code then in Windows Live Mail use message filters to send the coded mails to a Spam folder that I review periodically.
