Windows live mail, importing a .dbx file. - GoFuckYourself.com

I have my .dbx files on a flash drive.
My new computer is windows 7, with windows live mail
I did a search and it said to goto file, import, outlook 6, and select the file.
It wont let me.
Any suggestions?

I had that problem too. I imported the .dbx into Thunderbird, then imported all mail (and folders) into Windows Live Mail from there. Worked for me.

Won't do it off a flash drive.

Copy the file to your computer then it will import.

I moved it to the desktop, and then documents, no go.
I am going to try the thunderbird listed above, then if that doesnt work,
looks like some sort of permissions deal maybe..
