So is anyone quitting smoking tonight?

I tried quitting smoking on New Year's Eve a few times. It never stuck.

When I finally quit, it was on my own terms. I've lost track now, I think it will be 6 years in March that I haven't smoked.

Any resolutions out there? I have to say I could lose some weight and get back into better shape.

I was thinking about it, but likely going to wait until after Vegas and try the Chantix.

Smokers have such weak minds. Here is a tip when you want to quit QUIT. Stop pretending for attention like you actually give a shit about your health.

It is like drinking. When im in my down time from working out i used to get plastered because at that time i didnt really give a fuck.

Smokers you like to smoke, dont give a fuck about your health, just shut up and smoke your life away already so the rest of us do not have to hear you "quitting" all the time.

When i quit something i quit. It is not hard. I just stop doing it. I used to smoke cigars, got bored stopped. Smoked a pipe, got bored, stopped. Now i dont smoke at all.

How hard is it? Do you have a ghost that follows you around that magically puts smokes up to your mouth and forces you to inhale? It is fucking pathetic. If you like to smoke SMOKE and save the rest of us your utter weakness.

The point being when you like to do something just DO IT. This whole "quitting" thing is pathetic. I have 0 against smokers except them whining about quitting and failing like big losers.

When i want to quit something i just stop. If not just smoke like a mad man, you obviously enjoy it, fuck what the world says. SMOKE. "trying to quit" is just a PC way of saying "im a big loser who lets the people around me feel bad about smoking".

It's been about three years for me. Loving life. No more hacking.

I smoke at shows and over Christmas. I smoke an entire pack over four days this Christmas, and when I left that was that. It's been working for me for three years now. I don't attend shows much so it's pretty much just Christmas break.

Smoking for a while and then quitting and smoking once in a while even if not often is extremely bad for you, probably worse than just smoking the entire time. I'm not joking.

I quit part time smoking 1 or 2 times a week when I drank.... on November 1st. It will be two months tomorrow. Also quit the booze too. Had to or I would have smoked for sure.

My stop smoking meter has me at 482 cigs not smoked and saved 1 day and 16 hours on my life. I want to spend that day in an all asian orgy tied up like Quagmire...

I've already seen one person fall back. It's a tough habit to break.

You can quit only when you're ready IMO.

I "quit" in the seventies. I do fall off the wagon if I am drinking, but fortunately for me it was relatively easy to quit.

I quit 6 years ago. You can do it and when you do, you will know that you can do anything that you set your mind to. And, believe me, that's something.

Another 6 year quitter

Have you noticed that cigarette smoke makes you almost gag now? I am really hyper sensitive to it anymore and it bothers me.

Congratulations on quitting smoking. I quit smoking several months ago. Some people would like to cut down their smoking intake or quit cold turkey.

i quit smoking cigs again about a month ago. have a couple drunk relapses. i'm not really approaching it as quitting this time, just slowing down significantly to the point where i rarely ever smoke, haha.
