would you drive in the snow w these tires?

I am going to Colorado for a month from south florida, and we are driving up. I have 22s on my truck and a pretty new pair of tires. I was just wondering if I should put the stock rims back on, or keep these on.

Only problem is I would have to buy a whole new set of tires, just for the month.

Would you run these tires in the snow and ice?

Real snow tires will always perform better than all seasons. With average plowed conditions and AWD though you should be fine. How much snow driving experience do you have?

I'm a bad person to ask, I used to drive a RWD car in the snow with bald summer tires

LOL, you're fucked!

No, should be fine, you can always keep a some chains in the back just in case, also take some kitty litter and some rugs to get you out of ice traps

the more tread on the tires, the faster they tend to wear and worse gas mileage you will get... thats if you care (i really dont).

I bought the upgrade performance tires on my Tahoe Z71. I dont care about 22's since my gf mainly drives it, I hooked up my bmw instead. However, having friends with low pro's on trucks and SUVs living in Cali and going to ski areas with snow, id definitely say get some better tires.

I'd toss the stock rims back on and take advantage of one of those deals from Pep-Boys with buy 3 get 1 free. Just complain and they will give you the better tires

We were gonna swing by NOLA on the way back, but Mardi Gras will be in full effect. Wanna meet in St. Louis? I hear they have some good bbq, and you love bbq! Or is it bbw? I can never remember.

I can't imagine the new tires I have now are any worse than the rental cars I drove before.

Chances are you will never even drive in the snow so if I were you I wouldnt even worry about it. Im from Washington State and I would never buy studded tires. You lose most if not all of the studs in the first week you own them. Then when it snows you have no studs left. If you have decent tires and AWD you are A-OK.

Staying for a month or more. Have a 6 moth old baby, with so much shit. It's not possible. Besides we are taking 5 days to get there, and 5 days back, different routes. See a bit of America...

Have a safe trip, chains or cables can fuck up your shiny rims if you have them. I just put on some M&S tires on my infinity for a trip up to washington state, no worries. Keep to the main roads and they will get plowed more often and when you get back, make sure to wash the bottom of your car really good for road salt.

So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
