email from peebodycash

Quote:
Hello affiliate! You received 2 notices from PeabodyCash earlier this week stating that the website www.felluciablow.com must have its' current promotional materials removed from your websites. (Any text links, however, can remain active as the site is still active with a "new" model).

However, it has come to my attention that several affiliates are not taking this request seriously so I have no choice but to announce the following:

ANY AFFILIATE WHO DOES NOT REMOVE ALL FELLUCIA BLOW MATERIALS UNDER THEIR CONTROL WILL BE SUSPENDED AS A PEABODYCASH AFFILIATE IN 48 HOURS. When you have removed the materials please contact me here and your account will be immediately re-instated:

it is weekend, now i have to piss myself off to remove your shit? lol enjoy your business, and have a nice weekend everyone ...

It's his right to do it but, yeah, what a pain. 30 days notice is needed at least unless it's a big emergency like CP. Less is unprofessional.

It is always a pain to pull links for someone that shuts down a site. Fellucia Blow was shut down in order to take over a year of Mr. Peabody's hard work, not to mention the affiliates that pushed the site and made the Fellucia Blow girl a ton of fucking money. And it wasn't just that, they shut him down after they had got all their new sites in place. OK, that's their business, but then they showed that they had tracked all of his traffic sources and, behind his back, went to the source owners to cut him out and basically try to steal all of his traffic and sources. So all of you affiliates, including me, that wasted months of promotion on this girl, take a look. Now that they have managed to get out of a solid contract with Mr. Peabody, they are going to come around GFY to try harvest his old Fellucia Blow affiliates. You reap what you sow. Absolutely no reason to fuck Mr. Peabody over considering the huge amount of money he made them, well, except greed. So keep in mind, Mr. Peabody wasn't the only one fucked over, so were all his affiliates that pushed the original Felllucia Blow model. I wonder why they wouldn't have continued a successful business by merely negotiating with Mr. Peabody to switch to an affiliate position. They could have protected the income, the brand and the affiliates. I guess greed is a fucking priority with some people. I think I will stay the hell away from them.

They tried their best to get the domain name, as it was they bought a bunch of different variations of Fellucia Blow to try to siphon as much traffic and SEO as they could. This is the primary reason small webmasters like me or Mr. Peabody require ownership of the domain. At least it is some form of self-protection. There is a lot of crap that has gone on in the last few months not mentioned here. Mr. Peabody runs a pretty decent operation, everything is documented and contracted. Doesn't leave a lot of room for debate when everything is on paper and completely legal. Affiliates that are pissed need to know that this is not Mr. Peabody's fault.

I want to start first by stating that the Art of Blowjob has been online since 2007, and Dolorem, its predecessor, since 2005.

Now, let me tell you that it is extremely hard to make a huge amount of money when you don't get paid, and tremendously frustrating to see your content being used by someone else without seeing a penny of it.

You got paid until you decided to no longer honor your contract. Don't come on this board and accuse someone of theft without proof. You take your 12 or 15 posts and go fuck off. You showed up here a few months ago to work this board. That was the time when you were actively working Mr. Peabody's traffic sources and you thought you could come in here and help yourself to his affiliates as well. There are a few webmasters that are going to remember that.

You had a contract stating Mr. Peabody could use your content and you never questioned it before you sent a DMCA to CC Bill. Clever to send it to CC Bill on a Friday so CC Bill would give Mr. Peabody 24 hours to take down your content especially when he was out of town.

Why did you wait so long? Part of the process you need to finish up while you get your own CC Bill account set up? Some of us have been in this business for a long time and get pretty tired of this unprofessional bullshit.

Where the fuck were you at before you partnered with Mr. Peabody? How did you make all the bread to set up an office, hire people and get all your sites up? You've been up since 2005 using Verotel? I bet you've made a ton with Ticket Club. Spare me, you fucked off a good thing.

GFY

Peabody cash is down now and I have deleted all links to any of his sites so I can't back this up, and I don't give a flying fuck about who's right.

Fellucia Blow hadn't been updated in about a year. Not just webmaster promo content. I received her weekly emails and the preview videos they contained were sometimes a couple of years old. I think he only had about a year's worth of content.

The ref links to his sites either cascaded through Epoch, or led to Account Suspended pages. No notice to affiliates of changes or problems, but he had time to make lots of happy posts on GFY. I only noticed because I grabbed a bunch of promo for a new project. After the promo went live - the CCBill links to Peabody went dead.

He sends an email to me (and everyone else, I assume) YELLING AT ME WITH CAPS AND SHIT TO TAKE DOWN THE CONTENT NOW YOU FUCKER!!! The only content I used were hosted FLVs - and those still worked even after I got the TWO threatening emails.

His tours linked out to numerous sites that had nothing to do with Peabody Cash. Traffic leak after traffic leak.

If Peabody works as hard as you say he does, he's going about it all wrong. He obviously knew that shit was hitting the fan and his first priority was to get a Baddog avatar.

From massive tour leaks to threatening affiliates... Nice job.

It's been going on for a long time. The Fellucia Blow model decided to stop honoring her contract so no new updates. This whole thing was started by them with no need to do so. Mr. Peabody is trying to protect his affiliates because they may start sending DMCA notices out to them as well. Obviously they are trying to inflict as much damage to Mr. Peabody as possible. He has complied with their DMCA, but they refuse to confirm with CC Bill.

Trying to shut down CC Bill is a direct attempt at closing Mr. Peabody, but with 2nd and 3rd cc processors still live, no one is losing sales. His processor cascades are still managed by CC Bill, his affiliate links are set for multiple redirects which means if you set your link to www.peabodydomain.com/tour.htm where there are no traffic leaks, you will get credit for the sale. That he has not set the links correctly in the first place is an oversight. I'm surprised that you aren't aware of multiple redirects. It's an important question to ask a CC Bill sponsor. Mr. Peabody uses CC Bill's traffic flow. The links stay the same but he (or any CC Bill webmaster) has the ability to reverse the order of cc processors with no loss of sales or commissions to any affiliate webmaster.

Maybe his email notifications were a little OVER THE TOP, but the concern for his affiliates in this mess is apparent. Again none of this had to happen this way, it was done by vindictive ex-clients that may wish they had stopped when they had the chance. Canada is no protection from legal action. That Mr. Peabody has not decided to enforce a valid contract in a court of law does not mean he may not change his mind.

He's going to bump affiliates up to 60% for a few months when this clears up. I appreciate that and I'm not going to throw my friend under the bus because of some needless money grabbing shit stirred up by someone that deliberately chose to start ignoring a valid contract and then whining about it like they're the victim here.

As an affiliate this directly affects me as well. In good faith, myself and others spent time and money promoting this girl. We and Mr. Peabody put a lot, and I mean a lot, of money in her pocket. But raw greed has never stopped anyone from fucking people over. We see that every damn day it seems like, in this business. So when you have someone like Mr. Peabody trying to do the right thing and putting himself out there, trying to stay in business, and keep his affiliates going, you might consider throwing him a lifebouy instead of a brick.

Post the proof then. How about some figures. Since you stated earlier that you didn't make any money from the deal, do you object if Mr. Peabody makes public your CC Bill stats and checks issued?

Do you have any objections if Mr. Peabody posts a signed copy of your contract with him? How about some of the email exchanges you have had with him?

Got a problem with any of that? That would certainly explain a lot don't you agree? We can ask him right?

That would certainly go a long way in clearing up some of the reasons you may have had for starting this ridiculous mess.

Your fucking content is all over the goddamn Internet. And you know why? You put it there yourself. You took all the content you knew Mr. Peabody had, put new watermarks on the videos and starting distributing it freely everywhere in an attempt to dilute traffic sources and hijack his traffic. You built shitty free sites using variants of the Fellucia Blow domain that you do not own using the exclusive content you licensed to Mr. Peabody to further damage him. Then you send a DMCA to CC Bill on him. This is all out there for anyone that cares to find it.

I'm going to call you out on this. You are the worst sort. You want your content back? Give us our money back.

Without any insight or direct contact, peabody seems to have actually worked hard.

What I don't understand is how this thing could jeopardize his entire business (in your words). If the site was until now as successful as everybody seems to agree, he should still have plenty of rebills to keep him afloat while he sorts things out - as long as his processor does not cut completely off. Or I am missing something?

The DMCA has caused issues with his main processor. It should be sorted out very quickly. But time in Internet minutes is very fast regarding how quickly a webmaster can lose momentum.
