Worst few months of my life. Rode up to Kentucky mostly in the rain, found out a good life long friend was just diagnosed with stomach cancer. Great guy, beautiful wife, kids, successful but borderline small business, limited/no insurance. Flew back to Florida got my dog, closed up the house and drove back up.

Very fucked up situation that got worse everyday. It's amazing how lives can be irreversibly changed so quickly. I won't get into the insurance fiasco or staggering hospital costs. I tried to help with the business but don't know shit about HVAC and his key employees jumped ship when it was clear he wasn't coming back.

I ran up a small fortune in hotel and other costs. Froze my ass off. Gained 20+ pounds eating bad food. (Went so long without pussy I forgot which arm it's under, lol) You get the idea ......

Anyway, back in Tampa, trying to get my body and mind back where it was. In some ways I wish I would have headed west but I feel I did what I had to do. Made me do a lot of thinking .....

Glad to see you are ok man, I saw baddog posting a thread last week or the week before asking if anyone had heard from you. I was kind of bummed when I read it and read that no one had heard from you for a while. I don't know you personally but always thought you were a pretty cool guy on here, So it's great hearing you are ok.
