What is the least annoying windows laptop for a Macbook Pro user? - GoFuckYourself.com

I need to pick up 2 windows laptops for myself and my minion because there are a few apps I need to use that won't run on Mac. I bought a Toshiba yesterday and the thing is so annoying to work on because it has a loud cooling fan, loud hard drive and clunky keyboard and buttons. And of course the customer support are clowns as expected. I am beginning to think this whole Mac thing is not just a big cult after all.

Suggestions?

What sort of apps?

I don't often have to leave the house with a laptop anymore, thanks to my phone...but when I do, all I bring is my little Dell netbook. For web, email, internet and most basic applications...a netbook is usually a good option in most cases.

They're very quiet too.

These are custom apps and the developer works on windows so I just went with the person I trust most.

Biggest issue is support. Apple support is AMAZING. Not expecting anyone to compete with Apple but hopefully one of the pc makers is good. Toshiba outsourced workers have problems using a phone apparently.

Not worth the hassle even though I can get them wholesale.

You can always run Windows on your Apple machines.

The Dell I mentioned actually runs a Hackintosh version of OSX.

VMWare Fusion. Run Windows in a window, where it belongs ;)

Yup. No need to buy a new computer, just get Fusion. I use it all the time and it works great.
