Serious biz: sub-domain for second language? - GoFuckYourself.com

I want to add a second language to one of my sites. Iwill be having it translated by hand. I have heard that putting a second language in a folder like domain.com/secondlanguage/ is not the best in terms of seo.

Since the main domain I want to put the second language on has power, I dont want to push my luck and do the folder option.

Sub-domain good idea for this? like secondlanguage.domain.com ?

To my experience definitely sub domain is a better idea then folder option.. Rest here is a bump for you . for more replies..

Yes it appears to be the preferred format, cn.domainname.com etc.
