How to find out if you have a US warrant against you ?

I have to go to the USA, no problems regarding myself but the girl going with me is afraid to go

She wants to know first if they have a warrant against her ?

So help me score with this girl please

Im fairly confident that if you come into the US with a local/state arrest warrant they wont pick you up at the airport. However, if you have a federal warrant then I think they have a list when you scan your ID or passport.

Difference is, you can not pay a parking ticket in LA county and have a warrant issued for your arrest. Likewise, you can go on a murdering spree in NYC then bolt and you will have a federal warrant for your arrest.

exactly, so hypothetically speaking it would be possible that you have violated one or more of those laws/regulations without knowing it...

So checking if there's a warrant out for your arrest is not necessarily a bad idea...

Well I beg to differ, as I was picked up at a border crosssing a few yrs ago, for an unpaid 7 yr old ticket

No and it still goes back to don't do anything stupid. I don't think you're going to have a warrant on you without your knowledge if the police first didn't get involved - no one can just create one against you and long before a warrant there needs to be some communication with you before hand before it gets to that point
