the frontline episode on wikileaks states that the release of the diplomatic cables from tunisia sparked the revolts there which in turn sparked the uprisings in egypt, libya et al.

is that so?

It was something to do with this, I suspect the uprising was created by the CIA, possibly via Wikileaks

Assange, 39, said cables leaked on his whistleblowing site questioning US support for Ben Ali gave citizens the confidence to rise up and influenced the decisions of surrounding nations on whether to intervene.
