pornhub.com has pr6, well known aged sites with tons of backlinks have pr5 or pr4.

200k daily porn blog should be a well known site to the most people on this forum, of course if they do their job properly and have the competition on their radar.

if banned it will take until next pr update for the pr to zero usually. i've had banned domans keep their pr for a bit.

I think you are mixing up some things. Getting a pr4 banned isnt that difficult. Building up a community and a site without active linktrading or other methods but just from blogging and keeping it straight is something else. I laughed at the seo-expert statement
