Get fully indexed in Bing ?

I had a few domains which weren't well indexed in Bing, yet Google had hundreds of pages.

Having seen the controversy and allegations that Bing was copying Google search results I thought I would try something.

Starting a month ago I wrote a simple script that submitted every page url from each of my sites into Bing's search form. Now 30 days later , 80% of those pages are now indexed in Bing.

So, it seems to me that if you want pages indexed in bing, just search for them using your keywords which work in Google and Bing will add those results.

Your mileage may vary but it worked for me.

Had you already verified your sites with Bing's Webmaster Tools?
What method of submission did you use? This http://www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx or http://www.bing.com/webmaster/Index/SubmitUrls/? under the domain profile in webmaster tools? (limits 10 per day, 50 per month per domain name)

I have submitted some sites with almost no success.

This method was to take advantage of Bing's tendency to fall back to Google for results. You can read more about this on Matt Cutts' blog.

The method I used was to replicate searches in Bing that I could perform in Google to get my sites on page one. This was done using a variety of proxies and via a perl script which simulated a web browser searching for specific keyword combinations over an extended period.

I have come to the conclusion from doing this and some testing with some sites I didn't want listed, that after so many Google fallbacks Bing will add a site to it's spidering efforts.

Like I said, your results may vary but it worked for me.

After verification and a simple site map submit... I've never had indexing issues with bing.
