it's not more hardcore.. his spinning helps keep him in balance upsidedown for a short period of time without support of hands.. try to do that standing still and that kid will fail. nice try though. kid is amazing nonetheless

hatha yoga is more about overall physical health, strength and balance of your body and mind.

The woman looks to be in a kitchen of some sort, and I said in my original post that it is an example of what the asses in the class looked like. Yoga requires a decent amount of muscular endurance. It's not rigorous exercise by any means, but it will help build some degree of muscle. Holding positions is important and there's some degree of isometric contraction in most poses.

Every time my carpal tunnel syndrome/rsi injuries or back pain flares up again i go for another session. I cant do it three times a week because its too hot and feels like torture but it REALLY gets rid of back pains, sore muscles, arm and neck pains from sitting in front of the computer; it's very healing. If you have any back pain/carpal tunnel etc Bikram works better than a massage and if you are able to do it often, it will probably heal you. Really improves the circulation.

For anyone who says its stretching; try it. It's really intense and very hard.
