I play WoW to get my mind off shit by killing monsters and Horde. Last night my GF asked if I knew of any Post War, Mid Century themed games that where MMO's and I knew of none but my I'm a WoW snob and don't play many other MMO's.

However, she loves the new Cataclysm content. Anyone else playing it? if so, what do you play?

I don't want to admit that here LOL. I've been playing since before BC which has been a while.

I quit shortly after Cataclysm came out. It just didn't appeal to me anymore. Then I started playing a new MMO called Rift, which is pretty damn cool. The graphics are ages beyond WoW and the world is very cool. Rifts open up in the world and spawn enemies, 100's of people can fight these enemies from the rift at the same time in the open world. Invasions from different enemy factions happen where if left unchecked they can take over entire zones until you gather a massive group and take back the land. It has content similar to WoW as well, with your typical raids and dungeons.

Also, check out the youtube videos for Guild Wars 2. The release date hasn't been announced yet, but when it comes out, I'll certainly be playing. It looks amazing!
