We wanted to go to Zakynthos as well for a few nights, but decided to spend more time on Kefalonia eventually. You can take a ferry from Kefalonia to Zakynthos and it's a one hour trip.

You can Google for Lefkada and Kefalonia, though Lefkada doesn't have airport, so Kefalonia would be what you're looking for. If you need more help, hotel recommendation, etc... you can drop me an email at sales [at] adultsitedevelopment [dot] com

Greece is absolutely gorgeous! I've never been out of the country before (I live in the USA), but I would love to go to Greece, among a bunch of other places. My ex was Greek, straight up, and he showed me all sorts of photos of the times he went. I never gave Greece that much thought before then.
