The 30 Rock star said in a new interview with the New York Times that a mayoral run in 2013 is unlikely. Instead, Baldwin may enroll in a master?s program in politics and government so that he can ?better understand what the fiscal imperatives of that job are,? he said. ?What?s the reality of the city unions, of contracts, agreements, teachers, infrastructure, decentralizing, everything? And utilities, Con Ed, the M.T.A. ? how does it all work??

I love Alec Baldwin as an actor, but after following his twitter, I've found him to be rather boring as a person. He does seem to have a lot of political views he voices, but I don't think anyone could take him seriously as a mayor. just my two cents.
