:mad i fucking hate PCs!

Every computer I have has some type of problem or another, its so fucking frustrating

Just added ram so now I have 4GB instead of 2GB, ran disk cleanup and disk fragment. reset the computer and it WONT START!!

Its been running this restore thing for the last 10 minutes with nothing but a scrolling blue bar, then pops up and says "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer" WTF?!?!?

I was using windows backup to another drive but I cant even get to that drive. I'm so fucking pissed, I hate this shit. My Macbook Pro never has problems, Ive had two of them now for almost 6 years and the only thing was a battery that went dead.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Probably you've screwed something ... maybe added RAM module with different speed and one is overclocked now. I've had similar problem once (bios was setting higher speed than module's maximum and it was crashing). Try to remove new module.

I think I got it fixed... hopefully. I was creating backups on another drive and was able to boot from that drive the run a system restore from a backup. I have no clue but must of been something that I was doing to "clean up" the beast

I have an issue with a laptop where if I connect to my wireless router, the CPU is used 50% to 80% just by the interrupt requests. I gave up on investigating it more deeply for now. It basically makes it useless for online work and it seemed to start right after the recent windows updates the other day.

I own a macbook pro and a mac pro (8 core).

My macbook pro logic board died. It's over two years old and they want $1,800 to repair it...

So I bought a Dell XPS 17 fully loaded for about $200 more.

I'll never buy another mac ;)

Imma have to agree on this one... if you've ever had to deal with MS licensing support; they suck!

If windows was pre-installed on the pc, then the sticker should be on the case near the manufacturers label. If not, then pray I guess.

next time u install windows, install some recover utility and create recover partition at the end of hdd, so whenever u loose windows, just start recovery mode.

nothing is perfect....

Sounds like a case of incompatible ram installed.

I am sure you're infected with a Virus. Last resort is to reformat, it will only take you 30 minutes to do that.
Adding RAM is definitely not the solution, 2GB RAM is fine.
