Greatest UFC fighter ever? Yes.

Greatest MMA fighter ever? Not by a longshot

Yeah he knocked Forest out with what looked like a jab, it was insane!

I thought Forrest cut to middleweight for that fight?

Of course it was. No way Forrest could cut to Middleweight and be competitive. Silva also knocked out James Irvin at Light Heavyweight as well.

Well obviously Fedor, there is not much of anyone else.

Fedor never lost to 3 cans like Anderson Silva did. He beat the #1 fighter in the world in any weight class twice - Nog, he was undefeated for 10 years, every single one of his opponents were bigger than him except 2, the guy had like a 30 fight win streak...it's really not close at all

in my opinion Silva is the better fighter between him and GSP and Silva is the best pound for pound in MMA today.

this is the way i look at it. silva goes out there and not only does he dominate he puts himself in danger to finish fights. GSP on the other hand will get a lead in the fight. then coast until the end with takedowns and holding dominate positions but wont put himself out there to finish a guy off. hes boring from a fans perspective. if he has all that talent and thinks hes the best then why wont he put these guys away?

GSP is like the floyd mayweather jr of MMA. he goes in there racks up some points on the judges scorecards and raises his hand at the end of the fight. it's just annoying how he fights like hes trying to win on a scorecard instead of fighting to beat the other man up any way possible. i understand it's a sport but hey it's also a fucking fight. so go out there and finish your opponent thats what fans pay for.

fuck for all i know some of you guys like his save the whales type of fighting style. i just think it's fucking boring.

hopefully nick diaz can talk enough shit in the middle of the octagon in october to get GSP to come out of his shell. it's a good match up in my opinion. they both have such a big contrast in styles. GSP is an explosive quick fighter and nick diaz is a methodical slow punisher that wears down his opponents. so i hope diaz has been working on his sprawls because i don't want GSP to turn it into another gay dominant position "challenger didn't do enough to win decision" type of fight.

I'm looking forward to GSP vs Diaz.
Out of the two though, i find Diaz has been more entertaining to watch. Plus he looks kinda retarded when he talks.

that happens when they keep matching you up with strikers and you have to eat some big shots. start sounding like a 40 year old seasoned boxer.

You are wrong.
