Payoneer so slow loading sponsor's acct, I've been advised to switch to wire
I had been getting payments up till now from Payoneer no prob from a foreign sponsor of mine. But a bank account screw up (not sure of details) and so far 13 days (and counting) to get their new bank account approved so they could load funds into Payoneer and pay their affils (me).
So I was advised to switch to wire as it could go on way longer. I called Payoneer support today and got a Middle Eastern guy who I could barely understand and in the end could do nothing but tell me to contact the sponsor. So I switched to wire and will not be going back. This will cost me at least $100-$150 in wire fees but I need the money now. Thanks Payoneer for dropping the ball. Paxum will be my new pay method by months end. And you call yourself a PAYER company? 13 days and counting to get a bank acct approved for my longtime sponsor who is legit and who HAD BEEN paying by Payoneer for months previously? I called you and you gave me a Middle Eastern guy who didnt know jack or gave zero help. No offense to Middle Eastern guys but I could not even understand him IF he knew jack or could help. Anyhow, just a FYI to GFY. You WERE right. I should have switched to Paxum months ago. |

If you want to discuss this by email and lmk why it is taking so long lmk. It is not really my place to argue for the sponsor but since all payments were sent by all means last period on 9-1 except Payoneer I know they are legit.
The one it affects is not the sponsor or the payer it is the affil who COUNTS on a PAYER who can do things in less than 13 days and counting. Rediculous. |

Thanks, it doesnt really matter as I already changed to wire so I will get a payment for sure on the 16th. Both the late period and next period all in one.
So whatever. Just pissed. Cost me way more fees. Only two poss: Either my sponsor f'd up somehow. That is poss but highly unlikely as they notified affils of the attempt to load way back on August 25 and have been trying to load to pay affils since. or Payoneer is just very slow and that is unacceptable period. The time for answers was when the fella couldnt give me any on the phone. Unfortunately I need the money for basic bills and cant wait forever and missing another pay period. So back to wire (for one period) until I get my Paxum card hopefully by months end. I should of went with Paxum or at least also got their card to hedge my bets. My fail too. |

Actually I havent chgd it to wire YET but I have been advised to by the sponsor. Maybe Payoneer could get the show on the f'n road and I wont have to. I'll give it a day. Should still have time to chg to wire then.
Give me an email addy I can contact you NOW Payoneer and I will contact you with the sponsor's name. Cant wait more than 24 hours tho. Why do I feel like just changing it to wire rather than dicking around? Oh yeah cause I already called support and got dicked around. On second thought forget it, sponsor says change it to wire now so that is what I am going to do. Cant wait any longer. It is not my place to negotiate for the sponsor anyhow. |

![]() Just eval Payoneer however you want and trust me, I am late on a payment using Payoneer and it will cost me wire fees of prob around $150+ (20% minimum) Last time it cost me about $155 in bank fees for a $600 international wire. Plus $30 to the sponsor for $185 in FEES. Dont ask me why but I got screwed. Mainly I suspect because last time I put down a Correspondent Bank (Bank of America NY) which I suspect kills you. But I fear if i dont put the correspondent down I may not get the wire. Cant risk that at this point. I know someone said in the thread I posted about getting killed on fees (10 months back) "dont use a correspondent bank" so maybe I should try that. Guess it will just get sent back. Cause more probs tho I suppose and maybe I'll have to wait another period so better use the CB. Anyhow, they were a good payer up until now. I'm done posting anymore about this unless I have to. Just had to vent. |

Like going to the gallows changing to wire and giving up 150 clams. Since tomorrow is Friday I will wait till maybe this morning here which is Late Friday there. Then I will update to wire if no good news from the sponsor.
You know how it goes. I switch to wire tonight and later this am they say Payoneer is ready. ALWAYS goes that way. ![]() That is the plan. Guess I could switch back to Payoneer EXCEPT it takes the sponsor two days to manually update changes. LOL Not Nats. ![]() |

Yep I hear nothing but good. The only reason I got a Payoneer card is that is what this sponsor first went to after Epass. Now they got Paxum too.
Soon as Payoneer (hopefully) pays me I'm springing $45 for a Paxum card. ![]() ![]() |

I'm not trying to threadjack, but unfortunately you have no contact information on your profile for me to contact you directly. I thought it would be useful for you to know that you don't need to have any funds in your Paxum account before requesting your Paxum Mastercard. You can make the request for your card as soon as your account is verified, even with a 0 balance. If you don't have any funds on your account at that time, then the annual fee will simply show as a deduction in your Paxum Checking account until you receive your first payment. This allows you to get the card quickly. Please feel free to contact me directly should you have any Paxum-related questions. (contact info in sig) Thanks! Ruth ![]()

No response from Payoneer? Figures. Anyhow it is now 15 days (8-25 to 9-9) my sponsor has been trying to get their bank acct approved and then load to Payoneer so I will unhappily be switching to wire now. [email protected] if anyone wants to contact me. I normally dont list an email addr as all it gets me is spam. |

So what are you going to do. I wish I could avoid using a correspondent bank. I also get wires from DDF Cash but after looking I did give them the correspondent bank. So looks like I have to use a correspondent bank. Usually cost about 15-20% in wire fees. At least it is tax deductible which helps a little. Anyone doing wires from Europe to the US and not listing a correspondent bank? Would like to skip the correspondent bank. But I cant afford to have it get hung up. |

As a program, we use both Paxum and Payoneer to make affiliate payouts.
A few months ago we ran into a glitch in wiring money to Payoneer - it turns out that the wire instructions we were given by Payoneer were incomplete, or out-dated. But, Payoneer stepped up to the plate and credited our account while we wired the funds to the correct account so that we were still able to make affiliate payouts on time. BTW, both Paxum and Payoneer use exactly the same banks (Choice Bank in Belize and Commerzbank in Germany as an intermediary).

They may be larger, but Payoneer is US based according to their site. (That in itself can be a negative or a positive depending on your situation.) But I'm not sure why they would choose to own a foreign bank through which to conduct all their business? They still have to pay tax on everything.

![]() ![]() I switched to wire and it should come through ok next period. They changed their form to not require a correspondent bank which is great so maybe I'll get by without getting killed on fees. As for Payoneer.. well affils, next time it will be YOU who doesnt get a response from Payoneer. Too late for responding now anyhow as I am not changing back to Payoneer. Prob for the better. Applying for a Paxum card today and not looking back. Thanks again to Ruth and everybody for your input. |

Hi everyone,
I am REALLY sorry, as you all know I am here literally 7 days a week, but I had personal issues and couldn't be online for the past few days. I am not 100% sure what the problem is with the sponsor's bank account. Without knowing the sponsor, I definitely can't look into it, but regardless, I wouldn't be able to comment on issues a sponsor was having with us. I'm sorry our support team was ineffective in this case, but just as I don't have this information without speaking to our account managers, neither would they. There really isn't a solution I can offer you here - the problem isn't that we are holding your funds, it's that the funds haven't come through for whatever problem there is with the partner. I am not placing blame, I am just saying this is one of those cases where you fell through the cracks because of, what most likely, is incomplete paperwork. Payoneer has been in business since 2005 and we service over 1,500 partners including not only adult, but freelancers, affiliates, and many others. I am very active here on GFY and my email address is prominently displayed in my signature, so anyone can always contact me. Even being offline for the past few days, I DO have my Blackberry on me so I always check emails. Good luck with your wire and other payment methods.

Also, it's important for me to note that we have no reason to reject a company's bank account unless there is a problem with it. Again, I have no idea what partner this is, but I know how we work. Since we take our business seriously (which is why we have declined quite a few potential partners of all sizes), we are obligated to our cardholders and to ourselves to make sure everything is working the way it should. Clearly, rejecting (or not yet accepting) a partner's bank account is losing us money since those transfers aren't made for us. Like I said, I cannot comment on individual cases, but if we haven't accepted a partner's bank account, you may want to ask them why.

Fair enough, good answer thank you. Yes it is an issue with the sponsor and yourself and I prob should not have brought it to the board. As I dont have the details either. Just frustrated. Anyhow things happen. They will prob eventually get squared around with you and things will go on.
![]() Anyhow no hard feelings. I prob should have more than one card anyhow. Things can happen to you or Paxum and if I had the Paxum card (or vice versa) I could have just switched payments to the other card and avoided all this. So it is a good lesson to us all. Have both cards. Thanks again for your reply. ![]() |

Hi Vjo,
Thanks for your understanding. It probably is best to keep your eggs in more than one basket. That said, please know we are infinitely more regulated than the companies that have gone under were, and what happened there couldn't happen here, if only because we have the backing of many financial institutions. I absolutely understand your frustration, I would feel the same way.

Thanks again and for your nice email. Like I say my beef is prob more with the sponsor than you as you could really do nothing without more details (espec publicly) and I dont want to get the sponsor mad either so I vented at you rather than them.
![]() Ah well stuff happens. It wont matter much. Prob only for one period then back to normal. Normal being "saving money on wires" ![]() As a third party I really didnt expect the "Middle Eastern" guy or some "American" guy ![]() Just frustrating as you say. Good job and my faith is fully restored. ![]() |
