Can you hit me up I'd like to ask you few questions... thanks PS: never heard of raid1 laptops, but you can buy external hard drive and use DSynchronize to backup your data daily and to have backup away from your computer....

no such thing the heat from a real raid controller would be hard to cool in a laptop.
im sure it could be done but i havent ever seen it done.
