StubHub is Awesome!

I bought tickets for the NYG vs. Eagles game - cost - $1k

They were awesome 50 yard line seats, 2 rows from the field. We get to the game and we're told the tickets were reported lost and sent back to the owner. Apparently, the guy who sold them to us through stubhub sold them, and then reported them lost, to either sell them again or take our cash and go watch the game.

Stubhub gave us box seats, which were nice. Certainly not 50 yard line nice, but air conditioned, cushioned, good seats. And, they refunded the 1k paid for the tickets. If I needed to buy tickets in a hurry again, after they sold out from the official venue, I would definitely go through stubhub.com again.

Sadly, they can not refund the points the Giants beat us by

Good to see they took care of it!

I am not a big fan of box seats, i have watched games from there before and yes the bar and buffet was awesome, flat screen tv's all over etc... i just like being as close to the action as possible and be in the crowd (that goes for real football as well )

that was sick btw

I agree, I would of much preferred to be down there on the field where I could just about feel the hits in the game. But, it's nice to see a business that actually stands by the service they provide and make things right. All too often we're left hung out to dry by businesses who just don't care.

Yeah, that video is just another reminder of the weird feeling I had at the game. They just didn't show up to play. We have superstars on that team and not one of them is shining right now.

Real football, lol. I like all sports, here and across the pond, so I won't throw any jabs back, lol.

you aren't buying the tickets from stubhub, they are just a place where people can sell their tickets. sometimes people sell fakes, so watch out.

Too bad StubHub got rid of their affiliate program, man I was making some good money with them. The other ticket brokers come no where near the money I was making with them.

damn, thats pretty good!

NEVER EVER buy tickets from vividseats.com, that whole company is a scam. I bought tix there about 2 years ago, 4 of them on the 30 yard line. They have a rule that if for some reason your tickets are not available, they will send you better ones. So instead, they send us seats that were 10 rows back and near the goal line AND the 4 tickets were split into 2 sections.

I called and complained, even disputed the charge and still lost. Worst experience buying from them and would never recommend it to anyone. Emailed and complained, even filed reports and got no where.

StubHub has a guarantee on everything that is bought through their service. By far the best customer service in this type of industry. They know how to keep a customer as apposed to TicketMaster who took 3 weeks, an email and phone call to refund me $55.11 for tickets to a golf event that got canceled due to weather. They claim they automatically refund your card if an event is canceled and there is no need to contact them about it, bullshit!

Good info about StubHub's security:

Stubhub rocks.

Are you in the Philly area? What do you do in this industry?

Not far, I'm from the Allentown area. It's a short drive to all my favorite teams! I'm an affiliate.

They do rock! I will definitely buy their service again.

I wasn't sure if I could actually make the game at first due to a busy schedule and I almost resold them. I'm glad I didn't, but I went through the steps on the site to see what the process was like. They make it incredibly easy to sell and buy. I'm impressed through and through with their service.

I bought tickets from StubHub.com last year when I was in New Orleans, and I really like having the freedom to pick exactly where sit. I hate being stuck in the middle of a row.

Same here, if I can get an aisle seat, that's perfect. I don't mind getting up and letting people through, but I always feel like a pain in the ass if I'm the one trying to get out and making others stand up.

Stubhub and the NFL have an agreement for crap like this. The guy who sold you the tickets is going to get railed for this.

I hope he or she does get charges pressed. It's 1k, so if it's considered theft, that would make it grand larceny and a felony. Throw in fraud, and a few other charges for good measure.

in sports other then football, you can also get good deals on tickets right before games when people drop the prices. I say not football because of the amount of home games and the amount of people wanting to go. Last year during basketball season I went to a bunch of Knicks games and sat a few rows back of courtside for pennies on the dollar, and this was right when Carmelo came and tickets were very hot. But baseball and basketball you can buy tickets for less then original ticket value.

I don't like how everything on Stubhub seems to be marked up 100%, but that is some amazing customer service.

Used them for an Angels game... Got seats for like $35... nothing special... We were going to spend most of our time walking around the back and at the Knothole bar...

Then they call and say they had a problem so they are giving me the option of being behind either the home or the opposing teams dug out.... Nice!
