I pay $10 for 30. There is a generic now and my insurance covers it. You should check into it. I used to pay the same as you.

I tried the generic and it didn't seem to work for me... Is this psychological ?

Is it 100% the exact same?

Depends on where you get them. $5 to $7 ea.
Some pharmacies may not charge as much.

Stay awake on them for an hour or two.. not hard to do..
good funny floaty buzz..
deep sleep, very refreshed and energized next day. ;)

Ambien beats Vicks NyQuil hands down. Obviously completely diff stuff there.. but Never mix the two. Bad combo.

I use Stilnox, costs anywhere from $1 - $2.50 each depending on where I get them, always in a pack of 10.

I am tracking my sleep using Zeo (http://www.myzeo.com/sleep/) and its a massive difference when i use Ambian and not. The amount of time I get up, the amount of time I am in REM , how fresh i am in the morning etc etc.

The generic Ambian is not CR (extended release) so it never worked for me.

I cut a 3mg Melatonin pill into 4 peices and eat 1 of them with 1/2 a 10mg Stilnox pill. LIGHTS OUT and don't feel drowsy the next morning.

So... 0.75mg Melatonin + 5mg Stilnox = Best sleep you've ever had in your life, and you wake up feeling great.

Excuse me, but I said there is a generic for Ambien CR. Thats means that there is a generic for Ambien CR, god dammit.

Zolpidem ER 12.5mg tablets

Zolpidem is the generic for Ambien. Zolpidem ER is the generic for Ambien CR.

Not addictive. I go for days or weeks without it, with no issues. I do not wake up feeling tired or drowsy. Maybe you have Ambien CR confused with Canadian Beer.

I am paying $90something for a 30 day supply of Lunesta - and i LOVE Lunesta.

It, from my personal experience, is not addictive.

Is there anybody out there who has tried both Lunesta and Ambien that can offer their wisdom?

I've tried both, both are very similar. I sleep a little better with Ambien CR. I normaly cut them in half and sleep good for about 7 hours. If I take a whole one, I may sleep 10 hours.
