That was pretty good, he did a good job of explaining the whole mess. Too bad nobody really pays attention to any of that. They'd rather stick to their own uninformed, biased opinions.

The problem is simple. For years many enjoyed a standard of living they had not earned. Borrowing was rife. One of the things that kept it looking as if it was working was the banks lending money to people, countries and companies, in many ways, who didn't deserve that money.

Now the shit has hit the fan and people realise debt isn't a good thing, go figure, as one day it has to be cleared.

Yes, you, me and everyone in the West. Enjoyed a standard of living we ad not really earned. Maybe we think we did. If that were right. We wouldn't be in this mess. It take 1 hour 44 minutes to explain we are all to blame.
