Given our current culture, it is all so easy to throw the baby out with the bath water. However, if you have an open heart and are really sincerely seeking, FAITH has been one of the few things that can turn your pain, angst, anger, or whatever into impulses that seek out others. In essence, LOVE. The world needs more LOVE, right?

Love transforms. Love restores. Love changes people for the good. And finally, Love helps us get over ourselves.

Also, never forget that it's the number one killer of all time. Nothing killed more humans than religions, NOTHING. Not even cancer but to be honest, people want/need a superman/super hero, so it will always be needed (sadly)

I think the only think funnier than someone that claims God "allows" people to be killed in his name is those that accept the Old Testament as gospel. I suppose you believe Jonah resided in a fish or whale for three days.

You never got my post's message did you?

A man recently fell out of a boat in the Pacific and he prayed to God to save him. The boat turned around and came back for him. He refused to get in saying "God will save me." Then the coast guard turned up and told him to get in. He refused to get in saying "God will save me." Then a helicopter came and tried to winch him up and he said "God will save me.".

Then he drowned and went to heaven. When he met God he asked him "Why didn't you save me?".

God replied "I sent the boat back, the coast guard then a helicopter, what more could I of done?"
