Roraima, Venezuela
The hardest trail I've ever been on, but well worth the pain. About 10,000 feet up from the base camp.  .

I enjoy hiking in the high peaks region of Adirondacks in upstate New York in summer. Beautiful area. I will dig up some pics from a few summits later on.

The Appalachian Trail is practically in my backyard. The mountains certainly aren't impressive compared to the higher elevations around the world, but it's a beautiful hike with some impressive views, waterfalls, fresh mountain streams, good hunting, fishing, and camping locations throughout the trail.

Sadly we did not encounter any dinosaurs, but there is a huge, deep cave in the middle of the plateau which apparently has not been explored fully yet... .

i want to do the caminho de santiago in the next year or so.. an abbreviated version obviously. Probably take the route through portugal.
