The Jeepers Media guy is kind of a dink. While its true that the US imprisons a shitload of people, most of those people are black and / or drug offenders. He makes it sound like linking to sites containing copyright material is instant jail time which of course it is not. This guy is delivering his opinion with so much glee and calling it fact it's a wonder why Fox News hasn't given him a job yet.

I am still watching this guy. What an ass. He really doesn't have his facts straight at all.

Spin? Are you denying that the same people behind bills such as this were not only large financial backers but also the largest distributors of the pirating software?

Not only do they distribute the software several of them are financial backers in some form or another in several of the softwares.. So they developed and supplied it to people knowing full well what they were going to do with it.

hmm not sure that is "dimwit" logic.. it actually seems pretty straightforward to me.

They are profiting off software who's main use is to steal copyright material. Then they are suing people who use it.
