Blogs will always rank fine in SERPs and longtails that you use in blog posts/titles as long as it's still indexed but finding good keywords to target with high quantity searches and ones that people will actually buy something from as well as expanding longtails is a whole different story, not to mention image search optimization..

The highest ranked tubes don't even have video descriptions.
Youporn has every video on the page as an <h1> and supposedly having more than one h1 is horrible yet they have like 50 per page.
