Before this law came alone in order to not be charged for murder if you killed someone who broke into your house you had to show proof that you tried to flee from that burgler and only resorted to lethal force when you could not escape. In other words if someone broke into your house you had a legal obligation to flee your own house and not defend it.

I'm not sure what to think about this at all.

On one hand you have a black kid who has been in trouble a few times and most likely has an ego bigger than his waist size and walks with swagger. On the other hand you have a criminal who thinks he's suddenly on the right side of the law, playing the part of an armed vigilante after having a conviction of assaulting a police office and beating up his g/f or wife or whatever. (Correct me if I'm wrong on these.)

I side with the kid. The kid did nothing wrong at all other than going to the store to buy some candy.

Have you even seen the place where he was killed? In between rows of townhomes on the sidewalk. Where was he walking? To his house. Zimmerman parked, and followed him on the sidewalk. Doesn't a persons common sense kick in ANYWHERE here to think what was happening?

Have you seen the police tape of zimmerman being escorted into the station? No look of having been beaten in the traditional sense. Ie: bumps bruises bandages limps. He even has the presence of mind to pause at the floor mat and wipe his feet. The officers don't even do that. And this is 35 minutes after he was "being beaten to death". Common sense anyone?

There are only two people that know exactly what happened that night and one of them is dead. What is left is physical evidence and the testimony of witnesses and responding officers. This evidence should be looked at and if there is enough to proceed with charges then bring charges and give him a trial. Guilt is not determined by the media or the racist Reverands and their mob.

So you're fighting the media and I'm the proxy for the media. I understand you now, but you're making an error. I dont even have cable tv. I've seen small snippets of this story on broadcast television, such as the aerial view of the apartment complex, the police tape of zimmerman being brought in 35 minutes after he was supposedly in a life or death struggle. Not too much more than that. He seems quite calm and collected for such an incident, however I've never been in one so I couldn't say how I'd react. Maybe I'd pause to wipe my feet on the mat too.

Have you seen the police tape of zimmerman being escorted into the station? No look of having been beaten in the traditional sense. Ie: bumps bruises bandages limps.
